High Park this morning
on:

What an exciting and active time at High Park now, I was on the far side of Grenedier accross from the Mute Swan that is nesting, saw lots of Comorants, about 6 pairs of Wood Ducks, 1 nesting Blacked Capped Night Heron, 2 Terns fishing, about 6 Pied-Billed Grebes, 2 very loud Norther Flickers, Mallards and many RWB...here are a few pics all taken this morning - cheers!
btw with all the bird activity aound the nesting swan the birds seem to be at ease the 2 Wood Duck I took pics of today basically walked ashore right where I was standing, I actually grabbed another Photographer I just met this morning and brought him over to the Wood Ducks and they were very comfortable with the both of us snapping away....all you have to do is walk a little past the nesting Swan where the little waterway gets narrow all the birds are going in water and you can get quite close.

Very nice Colin! The wood ducks are excellent, the water is so fluid.

Nice set there Colin!
Love the grebe shots - I had one over on the eastern side but he was right at the entrance to the canal and hard to get any decent shots of w/ only 300mm of glass.
