Great Blue Heron adding the first twigs to a new nest

Was watching this heron for about 30 minutes and then it started to build a brand new nest.  It was snapping twigs off the tree with its beak and putting them in place.  I am interested in returning in the next couple of days to see how far along it is with the nest.
