If you go out on week day evenings you are actually breaking The Park, City, Port Authority and TRCA rules and bylaws.
They do not want you out there when there is no Conservation Authority supervision for your protection and safety and also because ( for your protection ) of the lack of liability that the above have if you are injured.
In other words the park is closed Monday to Friday 24 hours per day except for holiday Fridays or Mondays.
We are all hoping to preserve the friendly association with the above operators of The Spit that turn a blind eye to the many of us ( birders, photographers, cyclists, joggers, etc. ) that go out there early on week end and holiday mornings and evenings. This with the full knowledge of the TRCA.
