Found this little guy on my office window after he hit it!

I can't tell what bird this is??? Thoughts? This poor guy hit the window twice and the wind was blowing him down the sill.... but he flew away.... (alt+p)

Thank you Thomas, I would never have guessed that one. My bird book doesn't show a young version. Is this a common bird?

I was wondering if the blue colouration was an artifact of the photograph.  The front and cap of the bird make it look like a Chipping Sparrow.  I'm afraid I would need a clearer photograph to know for sure what to call it.
