Hi everybody.  What is in the water at Lake Aquitaine?!  Yesterday I saw a Huge Groundhog here and today saw a Huge Opposum around 4:45pm at East end of the lake.  I thought they are nocturnal creatures? He/she walked across the main trail right in front of my mom & I, looked at us and calmly kept going.  Bright sunshine at the time!

There must be something in the water at Lake Aquitaine making everything there huge?? Either that or they put in a nuke plant without us knowing..

At this time of year, not everything is nocturnal as they have young to feed.  As such you'll see things in daylight that often don't come out until darkness falls.

Might explain why I've been glowing in the dark lately!   ;)

The largest Groundhog I've ever seen in my life was actually at High Park last Summer in the Wallaby pen.  Not sure if he/she is still there or not but it was having a great time eating all the food and drinking out of the big water tub.  People were asking "Is that the Wallaby?".  Ha Ha!

Kinda like Bram Stoker's Dracula?    (Sorry, Attila ... couldn't resist!)

Attila ... this month has been wonderful for baby animal sightings:  birds, deer, groundhogs, squirrels, etc.  :)
