Lovely morning in the the Brickworks today, lots to see there were 2 Great Blue Herons one flew up into a tree but I was able to get pics of another fishing in the far pond...the lighting was interesting as one minute it was totally overcast the next the sun would peak through..... links attached cheers.

we went today. saw a baby kingfisher on the wire watching its parents fish. light was amazing. wish i had my good zoom lens. but no herons.

its one of those "try, try again" sports. you have to go almost daily for a week. if you do, you will get some great egret shots.
but yeah, will hit the Brickworks this week if its decent outside (Wed or THurs)

These shots are great!
Cannot believe the series you caught... especially the fishing heron's head submerged in the water with its wings propelling and balancing the entire dance!
Thanks so much for the post.

Thanks Observer, I have been going to The Brickworks quite often and comming up with nothing then I decided to try earlier times and that seems to work, also I think the Ponds in the Brickworks are very low so after the big rain I figured there would be a better chance of the Herons or Egrets returning, thanks for the compliments!

For certain and without a doubt, whatever you are doing is working visually so hopefully you are enjoying it as well!
