so many goldfinches this year. its amazing.
and they've seemed to have kicked the red-winged blackbirds out of the Brickworks.
great captures. they are beautiful but a pain in the butt to shoot (move so quickly)

thanks Yogi and Misty....Hey Yogi I found a nice spot in the Brickworks where Ruby Throated Hummingbirds hang out, West side between the 2nd and 3rd pond on the path where the huge Drain Pipe is dumping rain water, right in front of that there are some orang coned shaped flowers the hummers are going nuts over them...I am going to try again later this week to see if I can get one in flight, one brave female buzzed so close I could not even take a pic cause I had the telephoto on!
