Never realized they banded gulls, I normally don't photograph them. This one was in Presqu'ile Park 5 Sep 09.

maybe it depends on the type of gull? this one has unusual coloring don't you think?

Yellow eye, pink legs, black wing tips and red dot at the tip of the beak. Looks like a Herring Gull.
