WOW!!! Really like this entire series... and the two for one shot... fabulous!

I find the GB Heron looks so primitive in that first shot (dare I say almost prehistoric)... great and interesting captures!

Thanks Moira and Colin, I appreciate the kind words.

Everyone - went back today and there were 4 great egrets present with 3 great blue herons.  Managed to get more landing photos of one of the great egrets (same one as above - has a band in the same place) which I'll post here in this thread as soon as I can.

Those are some seriously nice pics.  i love the colouring on the GBH.  The shades of grey the white and the brown.  Hey where is the blue
