had a visit with my parents  Yesterday and Today

It was quite miserable yesterday with all of the rain. My Day, Wife and I, did some cottage hunting along Lake shore road west towards Lowbanks all the way to Mowhawk road (Haldimand). I spotted a few places that were of interest. All the while I was looking for any birds along the shore. Really nothing to report until we got back to Port colborne when I spotted a lots of Canada Geese and a Few GB Herons in the bay. (Water levels are unusually low down almost two feet).

This morning the weather was not much better. I did a really quik tour down cement plant road spotted a bunch of juvenile cedar waxwings.  A little further down the road at the Pond I spotted a Great Egret , three Gb Herons and a whole host of Swallows of different types. Back at Gravelly bay(Port Colborne) the geese were replaced with 15 Mute swans. Also spotted two Caspian terns in the same area (Tennessee Ave and Lake shore).
