Since I reported the Black Vulture there on the 13th a Dickcissel and a Western Kingbird have also been reported there. This end of the road middle of nowhere spot is extremely underbirded.

I have roamed around there for 3 hours and not locked my car and left a window open, and it was untouched. In the winter the red cedars are great for yellow rumped warblers, waxwings, and Purple Finches.
The waters of Soup Harbour and Lake Ontario get quite deep close to shore allowing for seaducks to feast within a few yards of shore.

Also the village of Picton has the cheapest gas in ontario.

Will report tommorrow night what I find there

No sign of the rare birds. Just saw alot  Kestrels 30+, Flickers, Eastern Bluebirds, and Warblers in the area around the point.

Some of the Turkey Vultures were napping on the lighthouse railing.
