Hi everyone.  I was walking around Lake Aquitaine this morning at 8:30am and went to take a look at the pine tree where I saw an Eastern Screech Owl (gray) back on October 10th.  To make a long story short, saw an ESO in this same tree again!  Wondering if it's the same one from a few weeks back?  Anyhow, he/she then flew to another pine tree.  After this, I couldn't see the owl but could definitely hear it!

Back on October 10th and again today, could see the bright yellow eyes and gray-green bill.  Could also see tufts of feathers at the base of the bill - apparently this makes it an adult owl.

Once again, I am totally excited/thrilled at this sighting!  :D

Jo-Anne ,
Good sighting !
I haven't seen one owl yet this year - maybe I'm not looking in the right spots at my usual birding locations ?
