Hi there
I saw a post on another site saying that dragon flys are migrating . Does anyone know if this would be correct , I never thought that they would migrate like butterflies .

Here's another article from last month about dragonfly migration:  http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20060812/bob8.asp

And this page tells you which species are known migrants:  http://vertigo.hsrl.rutgers.edu/BOB/mig ... y_txt.html

There are several common Ontario species on the list, but the two I notice most as migrants are the Green Darner and Black Saddlebags.  I don't usually see either species in the city during the summer, but they both show up in the fall.  (Both species are fairly common in suitable habitat in southern Ontario.)
