saw 3 deer on hwy 23,near taunton rd this morning,and another 7 deer,on halls rd.

Last few times travelling the 401 between Mississauga Rd. and Mavis (Credit River Valley)
At least 30 deer casually grazing on the south side.......clearly visible from the highway.

i used to drive truck,on the 401,heading into the city at night,and wouls always see numerous deer,between ajax,and pickering,just before dark.

I see the same herd you describe quite regularly. The last time I drove by there a couple weeks ago there was a coyote casually sitting amongst them and the deer seemed quite comfortable having him there. They just continued grazing.
