i observed this cute ball of down,near the feeders on top,by the road,s southern entrance.not sure what it is. can anyone help with the I.D. ?

It looks like a female House Sparrow. A fairly large flock frequents the feeders.

that makes sense as there were a lot of male house sparrows present.
