Strolling through Glen Stewart ravine and noticed a number of feathers floating down; looked up to see Coopers (?) Hawk perched on high and ripping into his breakfast - an unfortunate Goldfinch.
Last year I saw a pair of Coopers in same location that started nest building for a couple of weeks but then just disappeared.
