I would have thought that any self-respecting migrant would be holed up in a nice thicket somewhere, out of today's wind.  However, just after 9:00 this morning I saw a turkey vulture over the park south of my backyard this morning, heading east downtown, riding the west wind.
(I know 1 is not much when people are reporting flocks of 100, but I've never seen one from my backyard before.)

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.
