Today at Pinery Provincial Park visitor centre parking an Eastern Towhee was landing on our car windshield. It was pecking at the bottom of the windshield, flying up to the top and then sliding   down again. It did so over and over again. It was also checking the side mirrors and didn't leave the car until we drove away. I would guess that it saw it's own reflection in the glass.

Other interesting birds at Pinery today: Field Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Baltimore Oriole, Eastern Phoebe, Northern Flicker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker
