Good evening folks.

Today Alfred Adamo and I went to the Leslie Street Spit and found a Northern Waterthrush at the Old Mill Inn in west Toronto.

The bird was on the west or right hand side of the entrance to the Old Mill Inn beneath a water sluice and waterwheel. We found the bird this afternoon and the bird was very active and feeding.

On The Spit where a few good birds including 6 Lesser Scaup, 40+ Canvasbacks in one flock overhead, a juvenile Bald Eagle, 10 Great Blue Herons, Song and Swamp Sparrows along with plenty of the usual waterfowl species thru-out

Hi ,i was also at the spit on Sunday morning for my first time there this winter ,my favorite place for winter birding. Also saw the Bald eagle and the herons but to add saw a juvenile peregrine falcon over pipit point, red shouldered hawk, the resident Great horned Owl, and by where the marina path is there was a little flock of 3 chickadees ,2 golden crowned kinglets and a downy woodpecker.
Last but not least saw this little gem of an owl :)
