Tonight at the feeders I had this Male House Finch perch on top of some shrubs in perfect sunlight.

Thanks Niani!  Good advice, I re-edited the picture so all background structures are removed.

Thanks Zed! I was lucky enough to finally get it on my shrubs and not on my fence which is where they usually perch.
