Great day on the Island. My son and I made the trip to Amherst from Toronto. Stayed one night in Kingston (downtown is beautiful) We saw 8 Long Eareds in the Red Cedars (thanks to the birder who pointed out the first few), and 1 Snowy about 50 metres from the fence in the middle of the KFN property.

Glad you had a good trip after driving down from Toronto. I live in Kingston so I am able to get over alot, saw-whets are scarce right now and hard to find normally. Good to read you post, have a good weekend.
