Hi everyone.  I was walking around Maplewood Park this morning between 10:15-11:15am.  Saw the following:

Blue Jays x 5
Cardinals x 3 (1m, 2f)
Chickadees x 12
Goldfinches x 4 (3m, 1f)

Monarch butterfly x 1
Squirrels x 20

Maplewood Park:  East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.

Are the young Coopers still around,  or have they left for good?

Hi ostrich.  Last sighting:  August 6th.

I saw baby #4 (little guy) back on July 27th sitting on a branch just North of the original nest.

August 1st, saw baby #2 and #3 (medium size males) flying around in the East side of woods, screeching up a storm.

August  6th, saw baby #2 (medium size male) sitting on a branch at South end of park, taking a good look at Cardinals, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Sparrows and squirrels.

It's too bad they are probably gone now.   :(   How about the adults - do you still see them around?  I'm wondering whether they overwinter in the area or not.
