Although hawk watching wasn't as exciting as hoped for due to the windy conditions, it was a great birding day nonetheless. Birds seen included:

As well as the usual suspects of Robins, Starlings, Mourning Doves, and Grackles.
I have to say that some of these fall warblers present quite the challenge. Between fall plumage, females, and immature birds my head was spinning!! There were a few that we just couldn't confidently identify. I think I may have to pick up the Peterson guide covering warblers of North America and head back out. Any excuse
