Travelled a rural country road in the Rama/Orilla district and spotted the following :
- 2 osprey at their platform nest . Another nest was vacant
- a flock of killdeer
- warblers and mourning doves
- a northern harrier hunting - slowly flying low, back and forth over a grassy field and dropping down into the grass . Watched for about 15 mins.
In a vast freshly plowed farmer's field a group of 500+ gulls, a group of 500+ crows and a group of 5 sandhill cranes . The colour contrast black vrs white was interesting to see.
