My son and I braved the frigid temperatures Sunday for a few minutes at Humber Bay Park and then the mouth of the Humber. No luck with the Harlequin (didn't make it all the way over to the eastern tip... too cold and windy), but saw all the usuals: Mallards, Greater Scaup, Long Tails, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Redheads, Great Black Backed Gulls, Ring Billed Gulls, Herring Gulls; also 3 American Coot an American Black Duck and a pair of Trumpeter Swans.
