Hi everyone.  I was walking around Lake Wabukayne this morning between 9:45-11:45am.  Sighted the following:

Belted Kingfisher (m) x 1 - flying around the West end of the lake, "whirring" away!

Black-crowned Night Heron (imm.) x 1 - West end of lake, perched on tree branch.

Blue Jays - lots, all around the lake.

Brown Creeper x 1, North side of lake.  If you enter the park from Montevideo Rd. across from Linden Plaza (a couple of blocks East of Glen Erin Dr.), walk along the paved trail and you'll come to an area I refer to as "Bird Alley"!  Very active this morning with birds on both sides of the trail.

Cardinals (m&f) - lots, all around the lake.

Cedar Waxwings - lots, all around the lake but especially at the West end, eating berries.

Chickadees - lots, all around the lake.

Green Heron x 1 - West end of lake.

Gulls - a few, West end of lake.

Mallards (m&f) - lots, West end of lake.

Red-breasted Nuthatches - lots, can see & hear them all around the lake, especially West end.

Robins - lots, all around the lake.

Sparrows - lots, all around the lake.

Lake Wabukayne:  NE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Windwood Dr., behind condo and school.
