On the 13th it was around 4pm that I saw the deer. Today I saw a doe (and photographed her) at 2pm and saw a stag around 4pm near the same place.

Nice photo.  Is this on the east bank of the Humber north of the bridge?

The place I see deer most often is the east bank N of the hwy27 bridge on or S of the Meadow Gate 1 Trail. That doe was slightly S of the Meadow Gate 1 Trail.

like iv been saying here, i grew up in these areas, had many trips in these woods and 25yrs back you could not walk 20 feet and not run into 5 deer + 5 pheasants !!! Coyotes were as common as squirrels.

The 25+ of them have 2 or 3 main areas where they sleep and call home. I think I mentioned 1 or 2 but will keep them private now as to not scare them off.

I recall when Humber College had several horses in the enclosed area by the pond West of Hwy27# across from EGH, and this area was beeming with so many different species in the late 80's and up until 1995 you would call it a jungle. Literally.

We would see trout and carp along the ponds and in the river where now there is a school and the Finch TTC Bus loops, if you know where it is?
ps, notice the corner house that was 4 sale a while abck always has tons of C-gulls + Mourning Doves on it? Aparently some sort of magentic field or force of nature goes through that precise area, highly active" , we saw phenomena there that I think was either a UFO or Ball-lighting :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_lightning - YES, more than once right there where all the birds congregate on that 1 corner house by the river and south west of the bridge. by the school.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.
