I've got a Sharp Shin hitting my backyard frequently but the property is quite long and my point/shoot just can't capture him from the window. One step outside and he's gone.
I can't say that I go out with determination too often but have been hopeful on a few decent Hawk sighting/shots lately. There is a pair of Red Tails in a spot as I leave the 401 to Eglinton in Etobicoke. I see them almost daily. Often one up on a light standard near the exit, another sitting at the top of this small cedar-type tree. A few times I have seen them sitting together in this tree. But, trying to get over onto the shoulder is difficult at 2:30 in the afternoon with traffic; and the extra couple lanes that also come in from the 427 don't help. No need to cause an accident trying to snap pics of Red Tails. One just can't slow right down even though at this point the speed limit shouldn't be 100 but most are still exceeding even that.
Once again, great shots! All to be proud of.
