Just a few of the sightings this past week being the last full week of November.

I've been seeing the Heron just west of the Scarlet Road bridge at least 3 or 4 times a week.  I finally did the u-turn and went back to the first parking lot, then trekked down to the river and he was still there just relaxing on his turf.

I think this is a Golden Crowned Kinglet.  He was looking right at me for a milisecond before he buzzed off again.  Cloudy at this point.

Everybody gets a nice warm welcoming from the Chickadees providing you got some good grub for them...  those brown things are shelled peanuts from Walmart and seemed to be a last resort.  I have to agree, not very appetizing looking.

And lastly, a lady Cardinal, just because she's beautiful.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Some nice catches there Rob!
I've seen possibly the same Heron on the riverbank just off the parking lot.
Your ID in pic #2 is correct.
As for the 'dees, I shell the peanuts myself and the only complaint I've had is that I'm too slow!
