Hey!

Things are pretty scarce at the feeder, a few House finches and Cardinals at dusk.

Last Saturday I spotted an adult  Coopers hawk in a tree by the creek 1/2 a Km. down Derry rd.

My Wife spotted a Hawk on our deck railing today around 4pm.

Napper:) Milton.  No Snow here!

Well we have snow up here...you know, last Saturday, I saw about a dozen hawks while driving down to Mississauga....and so I had the impression that there were more hawks around...and why do some rth's migrate and yet many don't?

The birds must all be up here in Georgetown. Over the last couple days my many feeders are being emptied daily. Mostly gold finches (40+) junkos, chickadees and pine siskens, house finches with numerous woodpeckers thrown in, downys, hairy and red bellied.

Hey

Things are a bit better today, had a bunch of Chickadee's as well as Goldfinchs.

I finally put some seed in the trampoline feeder. (I'll xplain later)

My neighbour alerted me to this guy out front of the house. It was too dark for photo's and rainy

A Sharp Shin has been visiting my yard almost daily now but I haven't seen him take anything out or find the remnants of what I figure he's been catching/eating.  I recon he must be getting something to keep returning.

I had a few Siskins the other week but they must have moved on.  A flock of 30 or so Goldfinches lately, pair of Red Breasted Nuthatches, pair of Blue Jays, 3 Cardinals, 4 Downys, 6 Juncos, 20 House Sparrows, 6 House Finches, and one day 40+ Starlings.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.
