Found these today on Amherst Island, any ideas on which species these are.

Not sure about the duck but the lttle guy is a Tree Sparrow. Note the dark spot on the breast. Hard to tell from the picture of the duck but the overall shape suggests a Scaup (Lesser, Greater ??).

Looks like a Gadwall to me. The colour contrast along the flank and the shape and colour of the head and bill suggest Gadwall.

Head shape and black rump. Good field marks for Gadwell.
