Terrific shots. I went the other - to Presquile Park and was disappointed - no owls :(  Saw very few birds actually - bald eagle was our highlight though.  We got a good look a it.

Nice capture. I was there as well. Not so lucky at finding any owls, but got some nice looks at a N Shrike, and Am Kestrel.

Hey Robert, was that you in the woods (south of the red bridge) taking pictures at a flock of birds with a long black lens? I wanted to approach you to see what you were photographing, but i didn't want to disturb you, you seemed focused.

Hi Colin, I was down there as well today, were you with a friend? I saw two people walking on the trail leading into the boat rental turnoff with photography equipment. I was on my way out of that area. It was brutally cold and windy.

No I was by myself cold and tired I swear at one point the wind was 100km/h lol...I was near that area but just walked by...spent a lot of time near the lighthouse the field just to the left of it had 2 hawks hunting around and I am pretty sure I saw the Shrike...

You are a trooper to walk to the lighthouse on a day like today. I hardly ever make it to the lighthouse so far of a walk.
