Hi everyone. I was walking around Lake Aquitaine this afternoon between 12:45-1:45pm. Always an interesting experience out birding in -33c windchill temperature, one's eyelashes are freezing and wiping away mini pieces of ice. Sighted the following:
Blue Jays x 2
Cardinals x 2 (1m, 1f)
Chickadees x 4
Juncos x 2
Mallards x 50
Mockingbird x 1
Mourning Doves x 6
Pigeons x 8
Purple Finch (male) x 1 - a pleasant surprise as I haven't seen one of these beauties for ages!
