If you go to the Journey North website (http://www.learner.org/jnorth/season/) you can look at sightings maps for hummingbirds, orioles and many other signs of migration. There was a sighting of a Baltimore Oriole in Welland on Apr 04. The closest hummers were sighted on Apr 03 in Ohio and Connecticut. Although not all inclusive (how many sightings are not reported or even noticed) it is a good reference as to when these migrants should be in your area.
