Was at Rosetta McClain Gardens today for several hours. Birdsong filled the air. Red-winged Blackbirds,Northern Juncos,Song Sparrows(the latter 2 newly arrivied in numbers),GOldfinch and several Brown Creepers,Robins and Blue Jays could be heard. Also seen,Killdeer,Northern Cardinal,Downy Woodpecker,Golden-crowned Kinglets,Northern Flickers,Red-breasted Merganser and Double -crested Cormorants were all seen.  A worthwhile few hours at a park a few minutes from home.
Rosetta McClain Gardens is on stoplight east of Kingston Rd and Birchmount in Scarborough,at Kingston Rd and Glen Everest.

Note gates presently are not open, nor are the bathrooms. Staff returns day after Easter.

Nice reports Frank from another one of those under birded areas. It is surprising how many good birding areas there are around the GTA that hardly anyone bothers to visit but birders like you serve to enlighten them to one of the possible sites.

Keep up the good work my friend.
