Between the rain showers, I thought it would be a good idea to see if Ashbridges had any visitors.
I wasn't disappointed whatsoever.
Black and white warblers
Myrtle warblers
a fair # of ruby-crowned kinglets
brown creepers
white-crowned sparrows
hermit thrush x 5
all together, i would guestimate that i saw 50 warblers in an hours' worth of birding. the b&w warblers disappeared after my first go-around. the ruby-crowned kinglets were quite horny and the males were displaying beautifully in front of the females.
if it wasn't for the grey skies and the freezing, hand-numbing wind, it would have been an awesome morning. i give it a 9/10 for birding

there also is still some winter water foul present as well.
