Yesterday afternoon, there were about 10 Tree Swallows flying around at Colonel Sam Smith Park in Etobicoke.  They were mainly skimming the waves or sheltering in the conifers.  There were a few Horned Grebes and dozens, if not hundreds, of Red-necked Grebes.  The R-N Grebes were either closely scattered or in a very loose flock (depending on your point of view) off the eastern side of the park.  Some were quite close to shore.  Due to the very un-April-like conditions, I didn't go out on to the outer spit, but I suspect there were more that I didn't see.

There were several White-winged Scoters in the harbour area, mainly in the western portion.  There was one Killdeer and a couple of DC Cormorants in the harbour area as well.
