Lots of migrants around today.

Reports of SCARLET TANAGERS are coming in from a few spots in London, and generally people seeing 2 or 3 in many locations. I spotted 3 in one tree on my morning hike, at Cavendish Woods.
A co-worker of mine reports an INDIGO BUNTING at her feeder this morning. She lives in south east London.

A DARK-EYED JUNCO was reported this morning at a feeder in north-west Middlesex county, but a reputable source.

Other than the Tanagers at Cavendish Park, my party noted many other migrants. BLACKPOLL WARBLERS came in at no less than 5. We noted CAPE MAY WARBLER, MAGNOLIA WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART, OVENBIRD, YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, YELLOW WARBLER, CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, most of these in high numbers.
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS numbered close to a dozen, while SWAINSON'S THRUSH, VEERY showed up for team thrush.
ORCHARD and BALTIMORE ORIOLE were present too, as well as LEAST FLYCATCHER and BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER.

For directions or advice on any London or Middlesex County location, please ask and I will provide the info.

Best,

Len Manning
