wilsons warbler

I photographed a small yellow bird in my backyard yesterday (Saturday). According to my field guide it was a wilsons warbler. How common are they in this area?

Quite a few go through in migration.  Breeding areas much further north.

Thanks, it stayed in the bushes but I managed to get a good enough shot to ID it.

We saw our first one yesterday at Sam Smith Park. Beautiful little bird!

The wilsons warbler was hopping around in the brush but at one point he actually headed for the feeder. Unfortunately one of my resident chipping sparrows showed up at the same time and spooked him so that was that! Did you see anything else at Col Sam (one of my favorite parks, btw). I arrived there last Sunday fifteen minutes after the fog rolled in - kind of embarrassing because I am a retired weatherman and should have known a south wind over the still cold lake water would bring in fog. Anyway, it was still nice there and I did manage to see the least bittern.

We also saw our first Canada Warbler, and me, my first Bay-Breasted (not a first for Rob). We also saw Baltimore Orioles, Catbirds, Black-pole Warblers, Yellow Warblers, RWBB's, Robins and Tree Swallows. I should mention that this was all around the tents at the bird festival on Saturday. We did plan on doing one of the scheduled walks, but with talking to people and checking out the displays, it didn't happen. Good day anyway, and I hope the festival continues to grow.
