Toronto Islands - May 31st

[Bluffs Birder]

To beat the heat today, Peter Trifunovic and I birded the Toronto Islands from Hanlon's Point to Ward's Island following the southern-most path along the Lake Ontario shoreline.  Most birds are now on territory but a few stragglers made for some nice surprises.

Hi Angie,

I had'nt been in years either, it's just as wonderful as I remembered.  A lot less clothing at ALL beaches along the Lake side now though, not just the Clothing Optional Beach!  It made for some strange moments when trying to find shorebirds along the water's edge with binoculars and a camera in hand!!! :oops:   Didn't get a chance to check out Centreville though, so many fond moments from back in the day when I was a kid.
