Hobomok Skipper
Black Swallowtail
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Cabbage White
Orange Sulphur

Wow - how come I don't see such a variety?  What a great walk Walter - it really was too hot though.

This is a photo that I took on Sunday at Rouge Park.  It's a Hobomok Skipper sitting in what's called the 'jet-plane position'.  A perfect name as it sure looks a lot like a CF-18 Hornet.  Hmm, request for a name change: CF-18 Hobomok. :)

Hi Walter,

We were at High Park on July 1. I noticed a butterfly, which sat nicely on a leaf while I looked it up in my book. It was a Little Wood-Satyr. I looked at your pics and was glad to see it is the same butterfly I saw. Most of them fly off before I get a good look and chance to ID them.
