Went up to Wasaga Beach area and saw some nice birds. Highlight was of course the Piping Plovers (a lifer), I saw one adult and three tiny chicks running around. There was another clutch of four, but I wasn't able to spot them. On the beach also a pair of Common Merganser and  a few Common Terns.

At Tiny Marsh I saw about 30 Black Terns, A family of Common Loons (A pair with two small young), a pair of Sandhill Cranes (first time I have seen these well), 2 Great Blue Herons, 1 Black-crowned Night Heron and 4 Trumpeter Swans.

I didn't see any Osprey and the platform I saw didn't seem to have an active nest.

I saw an Osprey at Tiny Marsh yesterday. At Wasaga (Beach 1) two pairs of Piping Plovers, eight chicks altogether.
