Best finds were an Osprey, 2 Great Egrets, a Belted Kingfisher, a Lincoln's Sparrow and a few duck species I haven't seen since spring.

Ah! I was there today and saw many of those fine birds (although not the Lincoln's Sparrow although I sure did look) but I also lucked into a GREEN HERON, a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL, a BAY-BREASTED WARBLER, and a great blue heron and several BCN herons...
What a treat! The green heron in particular...

Ah! Why I wrote "BLUE-WINGED TEAL" I'll never know. I must have been horribly confused. There were some green-winged teal (just ladies I think) but certainly new blue-wingers...apologies...the green heron is still around, and also some good warblers...

Was there today from 830 to 1130 am. Highlights were a Great Egret, Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a precious few warblers and kinglets. I also checked out High Park on the way back, where I saw a Pied-billed Grebe and a Peregrine Falcon at around noon.
