That's a great list. Where were you? I spent part of Sunday at the big pond on the east side, and saw lots of great waterfowl (Shovelers and Blue-Winged Teal), but I'd really like to know where you were.

I was all over. The water level was really low so I went out on the marsh in "Embayment A" - that's where I saw the Scoter, the Swamp Sparrows, the BCNH, the Sharpie, one Wren... the Green & Blue Herons were at the East Pond with the ducks you mentioned and a few others like a Phoebe, the Killdeer, Kingfishers... almost all of the Palm Warblers were out near the lighthouse rooting around at the base of a small tree, but the other warblers and Kinglets were mostly in the forest where you go out to the cormorant nesting area. Out by the nests themselves there were lots of White-throateds and Downy Woodpeckers, the Common Mergansers and the Creeper. The Cardinals and Goldfinches were in the parking lot area. The Field Sparrows were by the little bridge.

So, in other words, all over! But it's interesting how many of the species seem to keep to certain areas.
