My hubby, Teresa and I dropped by Cranberry Marsh at 2:30 pm. On the road in, we found a Northern Shrike perched in one of the bare trees. At the raptorwatch platform, we had a great view of a variety of ducks. There were Northen Pintails, Northern Shoveler, 4 Green-winged Teal, and 25 American Wigeons. Mixed in with them was 1 American Coot and 1 Pied-bill Grebe. On the way out, a Cooper's Hawk swooped over the road, landed on a stump, and then dropped into the field.

Return of the butcher birds.  Sweet!  Gotta keep an eye out for them at Col. Sam Smith now.   :D

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.
