Saw a total of 3 Monarchs around today. Seems pretty late for them with the frost and all.

The migration has really dragged out this year. There were thousands of monarchs on the spit from Sept 22 to Sept 24 and just a few days ago (Oct 24) there were several hundred seen at Point Pelee:

I actually released 3 monarchs raised from caterpillars during the past week, which probably means there will STILL be monarchs emerging on the spit for a little while yet.

I saw a monarch at Marie Curtis Park, it did not look like it was doing well, almost shivering in the morning light and cold..it flew away when I approached it so I'm hoping it will find its way.

Still a handful of Monarchs each sunny day at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough. Also today we had one Clouded Sulphur and one Red Admiral fly by.
