We have been staring at a pair of Bald Eagles for the past hour.  We live on Puslinch Lake and this is the first time we have ever seen a Bald Eagle.  We first spotted the male standing on the edge of the ice and then noticed the female circling above.  They flew around for a while then landed in the crotch of a birch tree on an island across from our place.  First he was in the tree then she joined him almost landing on the same branch.  The two of them are huddled together trying to keep protected from this nasty storm we are having.  They have flown away now but were in the tree together for over 2 hours

From the Old Marina Restaurant looking across the lake at "big island" the birds were roosting on the west side of the island.  They would not have been visible from the restaurant until they were in flight above the island.
