This afternoon in the Bellamy Ravine (Doris McCarthy Trail)  Margaret Liubavicius, Leon Schlicter, Barry Harrison and I were all in search of the early emerging butterflies and sure enough, they didn't disappoint us. In all, 3 Eastern Commas, 3 Mourning Cloaks and 1 Compton Tortoiseshell were seen.

Compton Tortoiseshell

Also seen were 2 Garter Snakes along the trail.
