RFI - woodpecker...strange looking

Hi all.

Caught this guy last night feeding the young...saddest looking woodpecker I have ever seen.  Diseased or sick, maybe?

Any thoughts?

Looks like a new one from this years brood not fully developed,or it may being going through a molt.
