Hey Porshaah! Yes I've seen that nest, few years back during the spring when there were no leaves on the trees. At that time there was no activity at the nest.
Yeah, once the leaves come in one can get a clear view (i.e. at twice the distance) of the nest located on the western edge from the NW corner of the forest. (i.e. Durham /Elizabeth St. on the Friendship Trail) It's been my experience, that the offspring are ready to leave the nest by the time the leaves come in.
